Responsibilities:

1. Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, define test objectives, and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. Execute functional, regression, and performance tests to identify defects, ensure proper functionality, and validate system performance. Use automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and increase efficiency.
2. Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and prioritize defects using defect tracking tools and methodologies. Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of defects and work closely with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely resolution. Perform thorough defect validation and verification to ensure the effectiveness of fixes and prevent regression.
3. Quality Assurance Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance the quality assurance process by identifying areas for improvement, implementing best practices, and leveraging industry-standard quality assurance frameworks. Collaborate with the development team to integrate quality assurance practices into the software development lifecycle. Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of quality assurance metrics to measure the effectiveness of testing efforts.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in quality assurance, such as ISTQB, are advantageous.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role, preferably in a software development or technology-driven organization.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques and tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and version control systems.
• Familiarity with agile and DevOps methodologies and the ability to work within an agile development environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues effectively.
