Job Summary: We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Accounting Assistant to join our team at HDFC Bank. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department by performing various clerical and administrative tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining financial records, processing invoices and expense reports, and assisting with financial analysis. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Maintenance: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. Prepare and enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets. Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Invoice and Expense Processing: Review and process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursement requests in accordance with established policies and procedures. Verify the accuracy of supporting documents, such as receipts and purchase orders. Prepare and distribute payments to vendors and employees within specified timelines.
- Financial Analysis Support: Assist in gathering and organizing financial data for analysis and reporting purposes. Collaborate with the accounting team to generate financial statements, reports, and variance analysis. Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts by providing accurate and timely data.
