Job Description: Assurance Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Stay up-to-date with regulatory guidelines and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Develop and implement effective compliance programs and processes. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address any compliance gaps or potential risks. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a robust compliance framework.
2. Risk Management and Mitigation: Assess and analyze risks across different business functions and develop risk mitigation strategies. Identify potential risks and control weaknesses and provide recommendations for improvement. Develop and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) to proactively identify emerging risks. Conduct risk assessments and support the implementation of risk management initiatives.
3. Assurance Framework and Internal Controls: Develop and maintain an effective assurance framework to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls. Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess the efficiency and reliability of financial and operational processes. Identify control deficiencies and provide recommendations for strengthening internal controls. Monitor the implementation of control enhancements and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
