Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to end-users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. Respond to user inquiries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring minimal disruption to their work. Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop systems, peripheral devices, and software applications.
System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates, patch installations, and antivirus scans, to ensure optimal performance and security of desktop systems. Monitor system performance and identify potential issues, taking proactive measures to address them. Maintain accurate records of user support requests, resolutions, and system configurations.
User Training and Documentation: Conduct user training sessions to enhance their understanding and effective usage of desktop systems, software applications, and IT resources. Create and update user documentation, including user guides, knowledge base articles, and FAQs, to facilitate self-service troubleshooting and promote user empowerment.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in desktop support or a similar technical support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10), Microsoft Office Suite, and common desktop applications.
Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Customer-oriented mindset, with a focus on providing exceptional user support and satisfaction.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple support requests concurrently.
ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
Knowledge of IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
