Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Automation: Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure required for efficient and scalable software development and deployment processes. Utilize configuration management tools, such as Ansible or Puppet, to automate provisioning, configuration, and orchestration of infrastructure components. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration and compatibility of systems.
2. Continuous Integration and Deployment: Establish and enhance continuous integration and deployment pipelines to enable rapid and reliable delivery of software applications. Configure and maintain build tools, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD, to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Monitor and optimize pipeline performance, including build times, test execution, and deployment speed.
3. System Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions, such as ELK Stack or Prometheus, to gain insights into system performance and identify potential issues. Proactively monitor infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve system-related incidents and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer, are advantageous.
• Proven experience in DevOps or related roles, with expertise in infrastructure automation and deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure, and proficiency in provisioning and managing infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools, like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and experience in container orchestration and management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Bash or Python, for automation and infrastructure management tasks.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and experience in implementing branching strategies and managing code repositories.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps, and knowledge of build and deployment automation techniques.
• Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in infrastructure management.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and debug issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
