Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to evaluate the bank's performance, identify trends, and assess financial risks and opportunities. Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights on profitability, liquidity, and solvency. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Collaborate with relevant departments to gather financial data, assess financial needs, and support the development of realistic financial targets. Monitor budgetary performance and provide variance analysis to identify areas of improvement or potential risks.
Financial Planning and Strategy: Support the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives. Contribute to the evaluation of investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial projects. Conduct feasibility studies and financial modeling to assess the potential outcomes of strategic decisions.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM will be an advantage.
Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
In-depth knowledge of financial statements, financial ratios, and valuation methods.
Familiarity with banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in using financial software and tools, such as MS Excel, Bloomberg, or Reuters.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of data.
