1. Security Operations: Monitor and analyze security events and incidents to detect potential security breaches or vulnerabilities. Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement remediation measures to prevent future occurrences.
2. Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses and recommend remedial actions. Collaborate with system administrators and developers to implement security patches and updates.
3. Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a security-conscious culture.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Cybersecurity Knowledge: Strong understanding of information security principles, concepts, and best practices. Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or others. Knowledge of emerging threats and trends in cybersecurity.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in security technologies, tools, and methodologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), antivirus software, encryption, and vulnerability scanning tools. Experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) systems is advantageous.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to analyze complex security issues, assess risks, and develop effective solutions. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
