Responsibilities:

1. Network Design and Implementation: Collaborate with project teams and clients to design and implement network solutions based on business requirements. Configure and deploy network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Ensure network infrastructure meets performance, security, and scalability needs.
2. Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and availability using network monitoring tools. Identify and resolve network issues, such as connectivity problems, bandwidth utilization, and security breaches. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to minimize network downtime.
3. Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs). Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments. Collaborate with security teams to ensure network compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP will be an advantage.
• Proven experience in network engineering or administration roles, with a strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, VLANs) and network security principles.
• Hands-on experience with network equipment, such as Cisco routers and switches, Juniper firewalls, and Wi-Fi controllers.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze network performance data and identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and interact with clients.
