Responsibilities:
- Security monitoring and incident response: Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, investigate potential threats, and respond promptly to mitigate risks. Develop incident response plans and procedures, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of security incidents.
- Vulnerability assessment and management: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and assess security weaknesses. Develop remediation plans, provide recommendations for security enhancements, and oversee the implementation of security controls to mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
- Security policy and compliance: Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Conduct compliance assessments, ensure adherence to security policies, and provide guidance to internal teams on security-related matters.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Solid understanding of information security concepts, principles, and best practices.
- Experience in security monitoring, incident response, and security operations.
- Knowledge of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques, and experience in conducting security assessments.
- Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web application security.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and GDPR.
